I met Dr. Angela Olaru through my husband, who set an appointment with her upon recommendation of a friend.
I didn’t have any symptoms. I just wanted to have a spinal checkup.
Because I’ve been doing yoga and taking care of my diet for many years, I thought my back was perfect.
I found out it wasn’t so. I discovered that I had vertebral subluxations especially in the neck. The truth is that I spend many hours at the computer and that I often felt discomfort in his neck, but I didn’t pay much attention to it. I thought it was just a matter of posture.
After chiropractic treatment all discomfort disappeared.
I learned that poor posture is one of the most common causes of subluxations (spinal blocks) that eventually lead to degenerative arthritis and / or premature aging of the vertebrae and disks.
I was taught a special daily exercise routine, to keep the spine healthy, as well as how to improve my seated and / or standing posture.
I realized that yoga is very helpful and healthy, but it doesn’t address chronic vertebral subluxations.
Now, besides continuing with yoga, I try to keep these newly acquired good habits. Also, I continue with maintenance chiropractic care every two months to prevent osteoarthritis and to keep spinal nerves free from interference, ensuring the proper communication flow between the brain the rest of my body.
Of course you must go to a chiropractor before symptoms arise. In fact, the sooner you discover and correct vertebral subluxations the better.
For this reason, our son is also under chiropractic care. Not only did his posture improve but also his concentration and his immune defenses.
