For a long time I suffered some minor discomfort. As it didn\u2019t seem serious and the pain, although constant, was manageable, I resigned myself to it.<\/p>\n
But one day I decided that I was too young to have knee pains \u2013 what would happen as I got older?<\/p>\n
I started to do the rounds of medical checks: The x-rays didn\u2019t show anything abnormal. One doctor advised me to take anti-inflammatory tablets when the pain was bad. Another doctor told me to do a series of exercises to strengthen the interior ligaments. Actually the problem was that my knee caps were pointing outwards.<\/p>\n
After some time I discovered chiropractic and decided to try it. A medical treatment which is so popular in other countries and so unknown here, couldn\u2019t be so bad. And being natural it wouldn\u2019t do me any harm at least.<\/p>\n
I followed the Doctor\u2019s advice to the letter and saw noticeable improvements. I haven\u2019t had any knee pain since, but the surprise was the overall improvement in my body. Not only did my knees improve but I was diagnosed with one leg longer than the other, a sacral blockage from adolescence and a pinched nerve from an old car accident. All of this improved with the treatment and the nutritional advice I received from the Doctor.<\/p>\n
But the biggest surprise was a cure from the allergies I had suffered for years to pollen, dust mites, dust, animal hair\u2026<\/p>\n
Overall, I saw a surprising and complete improvement. Once the intensive treatment was finished, the Dr. recommended a monthly check so as not to lose all the good work and to remain well. And so, that is what I do. Each month I go back to the practice, I still do regular physical exercise and I have changed my eating habits. I have also learned to prioritise \u2013 to value other aspects of daily life, like health, family, friendships, so my emotional state is also more balanced along with my physical and general well-being.<\/p>\n
