Biovertix has its own psychotherapeutic space that makes it easier for the users of our center to work on psycho-socio-emotional aspects. According to our integrative approach, we understand health as a global concept of the physical and psychological dimensions of the human being. Let’s see what can happen when this well-being is not complete.
Sometimes, we observe that our body is not well, does not recover or, we have repetitive or chronic discomfort. Its origin can be diverse: traumas, unresolved conflicts, losses or difficulties in our relationships. We usually say then: “It would be fine if it weren’t for this pain, these cramps, these, punctures …”
In other cases, our feelings, sensations or emotions keep us in states of alarm, discouragement or agitation and, it is frequent, that we do not know how to say what happens to us. We can only express: “I don’t feel good.”
At other times, our behavior is not functional, it does not solve the problems we encounter in our life. Despite this, we cannot generate alternatives, we try to put into practice known resources and we can feel frustrated or discouraged. We try to get out of a hole, digging with a shovel.
It can also happen that our thinking is ineffective, recurrent and we feel blocked. In these cases, we may feel that our mind dominates our life or that we cannot focus properly: we will notice a lack of attention, lack of motivation, restlessness or doubts. This is usually presented with comments such as: “I may already want to do something, that in the end always with the same”
Unveiling these messages implies therapeutic work to understand the situation, among other aspects:
-
Work from personal identity, life history and self-esteem.
-
Identify emotional, sensory and mental states.
-
Observe relationships: social and family.
-
Meet the demands of life, work and our goals.
-
Recognize the system of construction of meanings and thought.
We try to make therapeutic work a balanced form of relationship between the person and the therapist. The objective is to achieve changes and improvements at different levels: the symptomatic and disturbing, more superficial, but also at a deeper level, so that lasting and stable resources are generated.
To this end, different techniques and specific interventions can be applied in session, from different approaches and psychotherapeutic models.
We are aware of the effort involved in developing a psychotherapeutic work that is not always easy but that demonstrates its effectiveness, when it is carried out with interest and attention.
Fortunately, the results are usually quickly and noticeably presented after a few sessions, allowing us to move forward, discover and consolidate, changes and resources for the future.
Individual sessions last 60 minutes and family sessions last 90, in a quiet and comfortable space where, from understanding and collaboration, a specific and unique therapeutic configuration is developed for each person.
